in my personal experience, every family teaches their boy to not hit a woman. cause it's immoral. but it's completely reasonable and required to defend yourself from death of all things. so, in Sanji's situation where the woman is taking advantage of it and just being despicable, he should've hit her. not to intentionally hurt her per se, but to defend himself. In a life or death situation, the aggressor is neither man nor woman, just a threat.
